Lyrics to song with your own words

Bring your own lyrics, choose a sound and request a sung recording without replacing the words with a template.

Your words stay editable. You’ll confirm generation after reviewing the lyrics.

How this tool works

Paste the words you want performed. The My own lyrics path preserves them instead of building a story template, then lets you choose style and vocal preference. Review names, line breaks and chorus repetitions before you explicitly submit the music request.

Make it specific

Prepare your lyrics for a sung recording

01

Arrange the words

Separate verses and choruses with blank lines. Section labels such as [Verse] and [Chorus] can describe the intended structure, but exact arrangement is not guaranteed.

02

Check the lyric length

The creator accepts up to 5,000 characters. Shorten repeated explanations and decide which chorus lines should actually repeat.

03

Choose the sound

Pick an arrangement that fits the words. You can revisit the sound before generation without losing the lyric draft.

Words to bring

[Verse] Two blue cups by the window Rain at the start of the day [Chorus] All the ordinary mornings Are the ones I want to stay

A line to build on

All the ordinary mornings are the ones I want to stay.

How lyrics become a song here

Begin in the lyrics form above. Give the song a name or recipient and paste the words you want sung. Continuing carries that editable text into the shared creator; it does not submit a music request or charge you. Unlike the story route, this path does not replace your words with a starter template.

Read the lyric in the creator, then choose a style and vocal preference. Confirm the complete text and sound only when ready. Once generation finishes, compare the available recordings. Your first eligible generation has 30-second previews; purchasing it unlocks the existing full recordings. Later songs require purchased song places before a new successful generation.

A lyric format that is easy to review

Keep one sung line per line of text and separate sections with a blank line. The example above has a scene-setting verse and a chorus with the main message. Section labels can guide structure, but they do not lock the performance to an exact arrangement.

Read the words aloud before continuing. Split long sentences, spell names the way you want to review them and remove instructions that should not be part of the song. You can edit up to 5,000 characters in the creator. A shorter, deliberate chorus is often easier to check than a long letter with repeated explanations.

  • Verse: describe a moment, action or place the listener can recognize.
  • Chorus: put the main message in a few lines you are comfortable repeating.
  • Final review: check permissions, names, language, line breaks and intentional repetitions.

Your text and the generated performance

Preserving the submitted text is different from promising that every syllable will be performed exactly. The singer may change phrasing, repeat a section or pronounce a name differently. Listen to the available excerpt and compare the recordings with the words you submitted.

This tool creates a new arrangement from your lyrics and selected direction. It does not copy a reference melody, clone a voice or replace one line inside a finished recording. Edit before generation; a new successful recording uses another song place. A confirmed technical failure returns generation rights under the package rules and attempt limits.

Before you continue

Will it keep my exact words?

The submitted lyric text is yours to review and edit; this path does not replace it with template lyrics. The generated performance can vary, so listen for omissions, pronunciation and arrangement before deciding to buy.

Use lyrics you have permission to use. Audio upload, melody matching and exact pronunciation controls are not offered in this flow.

Questions about turning lyrics into music

Can I try Lyrics to song for free?

You can prepare and edit lyrics without paying. Each eligible account gets one first free successful generation with 30-second previews. More songs use purchased places. The current packages are $29 for one song and $69 for three; opening the form does not start generation.

Can I supply a melody or an audio reference?

This lyrics-first flow accepts text and sound preferences. It does not accept an uploaded melody, match an existing recording or offer an exact artist voice. If you need the same tune you have already written, this workflow cannot guarantee that result.

What do I get after purchasing the song?

Verified payment unlocks full playback, saved MP3 and lyric downloads, commercial use and a private gift page for the purchased song. The public song examples use separate approved excerpts; your personal recording is not automatically published as a marketing example.
