Write one scene
Use two or three sentences about a real moment. Include a name or nickname and something they would recognize.
Turn a short memory and a personal message into an editable lyric draft, then choose music and confirm generation.
Write what happened and what you want to say. TailorMySong puts those details into an editable starter lyric; you then revise the words before requesting music. The current lyric drafting uses local templates. It does not automatically produce a polished AI-written lyric from arbitrary text.
Make it specific
Use two or three sentences about a real moment. Include a name or nickname and something they would recognize.
Say the thank-you, wish or promise you want the chorus to carry. Do not rely on the tool to invent your meaning.
Remove long explanations and shorten lines you cannot say comfortably. Check that the template has not repeated the same detail too often.
An illustrative writing example
For Harper. Written to explain the process; not a customer testimonial or a recorded audio sample.
You brought soup and a stack of library books when I was stuck at home. I want to thank you for making the week less lonely.
Soup at the door, stories to borrow, you made a little room for tomorrow.
Before you continue
Start with the part you want sung, rather than every paragraph. You can edit the complete lyric up to 5,000 characters before generation. If your letter is already arranged as lyrics, use Lyrics to Song.
